SUBMITTING AN E-BOOK	E-Books must go through our editing process, which is roughly 3-6 weeks and does not guarantee that we put your book up on the site for sale. You must own the rights to what we are going to put up. It is suggested that before you even place your book in our editing process that you either go to the copyright office and fill out their forms to copyright your book to you, and / or you print your book in its final form go to purolator or federal express and mail it to yourself and leave the copy sealed and in a fireproof safe. This ensures that you can have a judge open the document in court and prove your case. Please use your real name because we have to not only check your book, but check for copyrighted material on the net. You must be the copyright holder of your book because we cannot and will not publish your book otherwise. We reserve the right to take your book off of our order forms and modify the time it takes to do the editing process at any time. A newsletter will come soon that will keep you advised of our updates, including but not limited to our policies and all of our agreement forms.
	We charge the same price for all of our E-books, which is $11.50 C.D. (Canadian Dollars). The breakdown of what this means for buyers and those who have their books with us is the following;  $5.71 C.D. goes to the author (~60% of cover less the tax) and copyright holder of the book (Author and Copyright holder are considered to be the same individual, if it is not then we don't publish the E-book), $1.43 C.D. goes to the editor (~15% of cover less the tax) (sometimes the editor can be the same as the author, but for now the only case for that is when our editor writes something), $2.38 C.D. goes to IS5000 Publications and Technological Services Inc. Canada (~25% of cover less the tax) (this is lower than any other company that gets your books sold for you online, you don't make a sale the corporation does not make any money, the administration fee of $29.25 C.D. is just that, it covers administration fees only, not the sale of the item and includes $3.25 C.D. in taxes and $1.00 C.D. goes to bank operating costs). Lastly, it is required by law that the Government (Provincial and Federal in Canada) gets their tax money, thus they get $0.48 C.D. per book (Taxes based on head office location in Ontario). The reason taxes are included in all of our prices is to alleviate the stress of grabbing it out of the breakdown of the prices we have set. Prices are subject to change, if taxes change or if operating costs change. The last $1.50 C.D. per book goes to bank operating costs.
Rights	Unless otherwise noted on this website, either IS5000 Publications and Technological Services Canada Inc. or George Arnold Hall own all of the rights to the materials presented. In the case of a trademark or company name quoted in our articles, news feeds, RSS feeds, e-books, e.t.c. the respective company owns the rights to their name or persons involved and you must contact them and not myself for what that entails. If said companies are mentioned the copyright that is5000 has is only the way that the material was presented. (e.g. travel e-books, restaurant reviews e-books). The e-books on our site are copyright to the respective authors of the works and not is5000, unless is5000 was the specific creator of the document (this would be a rare case as the owner of is5000 is an author and his work is normally copyright to himself, one such case that is5000 would have the rights is documentation made specifically for is5000 and even in that case the author still gets the regular royalties as stated above.).
Regulations	The use of this site requires that there be no harassment of any kind. Harassment is anything that will take away or infringe on someone else's enjoyment of this site and is considered unprofessional conduct and against is5000's rules of conduct. There will be no swearing, no vulgarity, no abusive language on this site or anywhere near this site. The forums are for discussions not arguments in that they should not involve shouting (Just a note: There are no forums at this time). Debating is aloud but not arguing. Is5000 retains the right to change these policies at any time for any reason without warning, except is5000 will warn or update those that have chosen to be on its news update list, but if you are not on the list you will not get a warning. All of our e-books follow these rules in that they do not use abusive language to prove a point. All e-books are subject to scrutiny, but will not destroy creativity. If your e-book is too offensive we will just not publish it. Unlike some other publishers, we will make sure we let you know why we will not publish your e-book.
Return Policy	Since we mainly produce e-books for clients, we have a no return policy. Be careful in processing your data and have everything, absolutely everything, ready before you start the process as we charge your credit card before you fill out our forms. By all means do not start another process if you run into trouble filling out the form as we will not refund you for the second credit card process. Contact our sales team before you run into problems and you will be a satisfied customer. If you did not use a credit card at the beginning and state that you were charged, we will know as it updates in our system along the entire process, make sure that you copy your reference number down as we cannot even start to help you and need that number to find your record. We could just go by the time, but if our system was really busy at that time, we would not know which one you were without that number. E-books have a no return policy once downloaded, if you have trouble downloading the file send an email to our sales team with your reference number and we will see what we can do to help. Our system tells us whether it was downloaded or not, but make sure that you use the same computer that you logged into us from as your email will show us if you are actually the same person that ordered the book. There is nothing we can do if our system says that you downloaded the file, unless your file got corrupted in the download. A downloaded e-book is assumed to be read and read books don't get returned.
Reproduction	In all cases everything on this site (including the text that constitutes this site) cannot and will not be reproduced, kept in storage (other than the one copy of the e-book that you purchased), printed, digitally republished, changed, quoted, paraphrased, or even reproduced in another language without express written consent of IS5000 Publications and Technological Services Inc. Canada and or the author of said work in question.
